Developer plans to boost condo portfolio in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines – Seeing the potential of Cebu to attract more affluent condominium buyers, Filinvest Land Inc. announced to increase its luxury residential condo portfolio in Cebu.

FLI senior vice president and Visayas and Mindanao cluster head Tristan Las Mariñas said that although Cebu's market is still dominated by the middle-end residential condo buyers, there is always and in fact growing market for luxurious condominium living.

According to Las Mariñas, FLI will capitalize its seaside location at SRP, as its unique proposition to lure the discriminating market seeking for resort-like living, within an urban setting.

Aside from completing the 50-hectare mix-used property within the South Road Properties (SRP), called the "City di Mare", which will produce about 11 thousand condominium units targeting across market spectrum.

FLI is developing another 19. 2 hectare inside in SRP, which will be another mixed-use development, he said adding that building more luxurious residential condo will be part of the masterplan.

The ongoing development of "City di Mare" now initially builds the Amalfi and Sanremo Oasis, and the commercial component El Corso.

Over the weekend, FLI launched its advocacy campaign, commissioning Cebuano actor Richard Yap.
