Make it big in the realty business

The reality of one’s dreams can also be achieved in the business of realty. This I saw in the recent National Convention of Leuterio Realty held in Luxe Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City last week.  Behind the country’s biggest assembly of successful real estate practitioners is Leuterio Realty, a firm that has played a pivotal role in the growth of homegrown real estate projects which caught many big and formidable names in property development by surprise.

Leuterio Realty gained prominence in the real estate circle not only as the most prolific realty firm in the country in terms of the number of affiliate brokers and agents under it, but also in terms of sales volume delivered to developers in the last five years of active marketing. When most people think that real estate selling is a tough pursuit, it seems that Leuterio Realty agents are just cherry-picking.                     One story I heard was that of an agent from Bohol who sold like P160 million worth of real estate projects in three months! She did it all in Facebook! Another inspiring story was that of a caretaker of pigs from the mountains of Carcar. With no connection and a “shy probinsiyana” that she was once, she made her millions in one year doing marketing of real estate products on Facebook and in other online channels. She now raises her own hogs and is investing in breeding sporting cocks in the same mountain where she used to work. There were many unique stories that were told but their success is not unique only to them.

The recent National Convention Leuterio Realty was not only a convention of some sort for social gathering or to chill out, it was an assembly of the best real estate marketers in the country sharing experiences and best practices at the time.

One important discovery and learning I have made in that convention is the reality of the rewards that real estate brings to people who would like to find their fortune in the realty business. Mr. Andy Manalac, the guru and authority of real estate marketing, who was also among the resource persons at the time, said of the opportunities that real estate marketers will reap next year. He said that the robust economy coupled with growing interest of OFWs in investing their hard-earned money in solid and safe assets, are among the drivers of real estate market in 2016 to become bigger and wider than ever.

To make money in real estate selling, one has to have a good support system: Technology, training and seminars, product awareness and mastery, and a collaborative network are just some of the few essentials that catapults your business as a broker or realtor.
