Developer to complete housing project in 2 yrs

CEBU, Philippines- A homegrown residential developer is stepping up its effort to provide more quality housing units for the Cebuanos to address the need for affordable homes in Cebu.

Heritage Supreme Land Developer targets to complete the 125 housing units of Goldmine Residences in the next two years. The 2.5 hectare project is located in Barangay So-ong, Lapu-Lapu City.      

In an interview with Sunshine Lim, company director for sales and marketing, she said the project is being fast tracked to keep up the active buying interest of the market.

Despite the increasing number of housing choices in this particular category, which offers house and lot packages ranging from P1 million to P1.2 million, Lim said Goldmine Residences gained favor from the buyers because of the quality of the development.

Lim, whose family is also into furniture export business, said that the company believes in the good opportunity in real estate, that aside from making good business, "we are also helping people to own quality shelters, because everyone deserves a quality lifestyle."

Now on its phase one stage of development, the company is set to build 67 house-and-lot units. Construction of the remaining units will be started immediately.

Although initially designed for the middle-income earners, Lim said the project is also actually gaining the interest of the retiree market, prompting the company to start its condominium development project.

Lim said Heritage Supreme Land Developer will soon launch its two tower Goldmine Condominium within the subdivision.

The project will have complete amenities such as school, (Sto. Niño Mactan Montessori School), spa, health clinic, medical and dental clinic, and grocery store.

Lim, together with husband Charles, also own the Heritage Muebles Mirabile Export Inc., and the company is drawing its confidence in the real estate business to its expertise in home furnishing for years.

The company is also planning to build a retirement village in its four-hectare property located in Danao City. (FREEMAN)
