Tieto joins Brigada Eskwela

CEBU, Philippines - Volunteers from Tieto Global Oy – Philippine Branch joined this year’s Brigada Eskwela as they helped repaint classrooms and repair school furniture at the Bagalnga Integrated School in Compostela, Cebu last Saturday, May 17.

Country manager Jan Olov Eriksson joined the 30 volunteers comprised of employees and managers in preparing the school for the incoming schoolyear.

Last Jan. 27, Tieto led groundbreaking ceremonies at the school for the construction of a two-classroom building in partnership with World Vision International.

The school was among the many schools in northern Cebu that were destroyed by the earthquake and typhoon Yolanda last year. (FREEMAN)
