CEBU, Philippines - Gotianun-led Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) last Saturday formally inaugurated the tallest building of the One Oasis project, the garden-resort inspired community within the urban center.
One Oasis, as an FLI brand for residential condominiums in a subdivision ambience, sits on a 3.2-hectare property located in the uptown district of Mabolo, Cebu City.
Its development is divided into phases to soon complete the construction of the total ten buildings by 2020 to 2024.
It features one-bedroom and two-bedroom units for its first three buildings, namely the five-storey Garden Suites 1 and 2 and the 10-storey Fairways 1.
FLI Visayas area general manager Lydwena Eco said that the developer poured an investment of P1.5 billion for the first phase of the project that is projected to be finished by the second quarter of next year.
She cited that 480 out of 1700 units of the One Oasis project are already sold. The two-bedroom and studio units, she said, are considered to be the bestselling units priced between P2.6 to P2.8 million.
She further noted that 200 homeowners have already moved in to their units to date.
She added that majority of the buyers of the One Oasis units are locals who are either investors or end-users. The company further received positive market reception from foreigners and overseas Filipino workers in buying a unit from FLI.
The first two buildings named as Garden Suites 1 and 2 have already been turned over to clients while Fairways 1 that is currently 50 percent sold was also turned over since September of this year.
The fourth building, Garden Suites 3, is a five-storey, studio-dominated building that houses largely studio-type units and boasts of a direct view of the amenity area. It is set to be fully completed by second quarter of 2014.
Meanwhile, Eco said that FLI may invest the same amount for the completion of the second phase of the project that will include the development of the amenity area and construction of another two or three buildings.
“Development of the amenity area is in full swing and is expected to be fully completed by the first quarter of next year,†she said.
About 60 percent of One Oasis is allocated for resort-themed amenities and open areas which will include a multi-purpose clubhouse, al fresco dining, swimming pools, a basketball court, play areas, gazebos, landscaped gardens and a nature park.
All buildings are built using reinforced concrete and cast-in-place technology to assure units are durable, fire-resistant, pest-free and requires low maintenance.
The mid-rise condominium buildings have five to ten floors and a roof deck cum laundry area. (FREEMAN)
