As part of its commitment to the Clean Air Act (CAA), Caltex will officially
launch tomorrow its next generation unleaded gasoline, Vortex. The new product
is part of a $45 million Caltex refinery upgrade program.

Barry Ashman, general manager for retail of Caltex (Philippines) Inc., said
Vortex was among the measures the oil firm had undertaken to comply with the
CAA. "Vortex works to clean the engine aside from delivering the maximum
performance that has come to be expected of Caltex fuel products.
