[Summary] => The National Transmission Corp. (Transco) has gained the destinction of being the first power utility in the ASEAN region with an upgraded ISO certification for quality management system (QMS).
The ISO 9001 conferred by the TÜV Product Service Philippines to Transco’s Systems Operation (SO) head office and Luzon SO area control centers has been upgraded and expanded, this time to include the Visayas and Mindanao systems.
As a result of this system upgrade, there had been no blackouts in Luzon in the past 20 months and in Mindanao in 12 months.
