An official of the Taguig City government announced that the newly built branch of the St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) at The Fort is ready to serve the public before the year ends.

In an interview, Tinga said the SC’s decision to uphold the cityhood of Taguig puts a period on the issues hounding its conversion into a highly urbanized city.

"However, this doesn’t mean we have to sit on our laurels. This is a hint for us to get to work, and work harder," he said.
