[Summary] => DAGUPAN CITY — A quick-thinking Chinese-Filipino architect-businessman narrowly escaped falling into the hands of four would-be kidnappers here early yesterday morning.
The trader, Francisco "Paul" Tan Co, in his late 30s, was on his way to Bonuan Binloc to play golf when he noticed that a white car was tailing his Chevrolet super van.
Co’s family owns a chain of construction supply stores and a cable television station.
Co drove his vehicle at full speed when the unidentified men began firing at his vehicle, hitting it four times.
