[Title] => Nirvana, Kiss and the E Street Band join rock hall
[Summary] => Kiss made up, but its music went unheard. Nirvana used four women rockers to sing Kurt Cobain's songs. And Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band — predictably — turned its honor into a marathon.

[Title] => Remembering Nirvana
[Summary] =>
As I was reading the news online a couple of weeks ago, an article caught me a bit off guard. It was about the 90s grunge band Nirvana and how its defining 91 album "Nevermind" had been added to the United States Library of Congress National Recording Registry. It seemed a bit surreal, even a bit wrong that a band like Nirvana would be forever preserved in history. I mean, these guys were hardcore rock stars. That means drugs, sex, alcohol, profanity, references to the devil and what have you.

[Title] => Stuck in a moment between Nirvana and Foo
[Summary] => Its that time of year when greatest hits, best of, and retrospective anthologies are released like they are going out of style. Part of the harvest are U2s 1990-2000 collection, the inevitable follow-up to their 1980-1990 or thereabouts phase, and Nirvanas untitled black album which can only be described as a definitive anthology of the works of the late Kurt Cobain with the band.
