"Hindi na daw gumagana ang systems niya. Nagka-impeksyon ang kanyang bituka at paa (His systems failed. His intestines and feet got infected)," a police investigator quoted the boy’s doctor as saying.

                    [Summary] => Police arrested yesterday a drunken colleague who shot and critically wounded a 12-year-old boy he mistakenly accused of stoning his house in Teresa, Rizal.


The Rizal police command immediately initiated summary dismissal proceedings against the suspect, PO2 Reynaldo Pantaleon, assigned to the Baras town police. 


The victim, Ronnie Mamento, 12, a Grade 6 pupil, sustained three gunshot wounds. He is now fighting for his life at the Baras General Hospital.
