It’s almost midnight and the place is packed with a horde of people. It takes me a good five minutes to cross the floor from the door to the bar, a distance of about four or five meters, to get another beer. This is an excellent time for me to scope the crowd. There is a whole assortment of them tonight. Clad in their Ramones T-Shirts and sporting sweaters that say: "Punk’s not Dead," these fellows are right up at the stage, standing, shouting; waiting impatiently for the next act.

The question is, "Why doesn’t groovy and sophisticated music find its way into the airwaves?"
