                    [Summary] => ZAMBOANGA CITY — The manager of the Philippine National Bank branch in Jolo, Sulu and his wife were wounded in an ambush by a lone gunman yesterday morning, police said.


Investigators said PNP-Jolo manager Jioksin Dammang and his wife, Saudah, were on board the bank’s gray Tamaraw service vehicle when the gunman suddenly appeared and shot them with a caliber .45 pistol in Barangay Tulay.


The gunman wore a baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses. 


Dammang sustained bullet wounds in the jaw, left arm and hip, and his wife, in the left arm.
