A man reportedly raped his 12-year-old daughter inside their house in Carcar town last Saturday night, but the victim only reported the incident to the police yesterday morning with her uncle.


PO3 Zacarias Cabaluna of the Carcar police station yesterday told The FREEMAN that the victim and her uncle told police that the rape happened while her father was under the influence of liquor.


The man was already detained after the victim's uncle brought him to the police station.  Appropriate charges are now being prepared against him.
