[Summary] => Political prisoners at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center are reported to have gone on hunger strike since Thursday to protest their confinement at the maximum-security cell and their being barred from joining other inmates during sunning.

However, sophisticated security gadgets of the CPDRC found out that the hunger strike was bogus. Based on the jail's surveillance camera, the prisoners have been taking their own meals despite refusing to accept their food ration.
