LRTA administrator Teddy Cruz Jr. said the fare structure, patterned after that of the existing LRT-1, was determined by the Fare Policy Committee of the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) and approved by the LRTA Board.

According to Teddy Cruz, head of the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), the 75-meter walkway will be constructed at the end of the MRT and LRT stations in Pasay City to enable the passengers to transfer easily.
