[Summary] => Sinisi kahapon ng Philippine Legislators’ Committee on Population and Development Foundation Inc. (PLCPD) sa Simbahan ang nagaganap na 1,096 abortions araw-araw dahil sa patuloy ng pagtutol nito sa The Responsible Parenthood and Population Management Act of 2005.
Ayon sa PLCPD, mayroong 10 ina ang namamatay habang 16 na babae at 12 kabataan ang inaabuso araw-araw dahil sa kawalan ng reproductive health program at services ng gobyerno.
Batay pa sa ulat ng PLCPD, sa bawat 1,000 buntis ay 17 sanggol ang namamatay bago maipanganak habang 29 sanggol naman ang hindi umaabot sa edad na isang taon at 42 bata ang namamatay bago sumapit ng 5 taon dahil sa sakit.
Anila, ang solusyon sa problemang ito ay ang pagpasa sa house bill 3773 o The Responsable Parenthood and Population Management Act.
