Two fire incidents were reported yesterday in at least two residential areas in Las Piñas City.


Arson investigators of the Las Piñas Fire Station said that a lighted candle left unattended inside a house located at No. 4 Lagman Street, BF Resort Subdivision triggered a blaze at around 12:40 a.m. yesterday.

The candle, which was reportedly left on top of a piano, could have tumbled.

The fire reached the first alarm and damaged several portions of the house owned by Jennie Aragon, 35.

Several appliances were also razed.
