Vice Mayor Alvin Fernandez, who thought of butterfly-raising as an income-generating project of the barangay, said that the Department of Agriculture‘s (DA) regional office in San Fernando, La Union has delivered 30 adult butterflies and 70 larvae to the facility.

                    [Summary] => SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Region I under Regional Director Nestor Domenden, has advised the public against harvesting, selling and eating seaweeds, locally known as "kulot" which allegedly poisoned and killed seven since early December last year.


Most of the seaweeds were gathered along the shores of Nalvo Sur, Darigayos and Carisquis, all of Luna town in La Union.
