[Title] => Too much rumor-mongering, even from FPJ camp
[Summary] => Yesterday this is written with fingers crossed last night passed without serious incident. Violence had been expected, with angry pro-FPJ demonstrators expressing their disgruntlement with what they called a government-stirred-up "harassment" of their idol Panday. It didnt occur.

[Title] => Afghanistan? The war zone is right here!
[Summary] => The 10,000 Maranaos and other Moros who angrily demonstrated in Mindanao in support of Osama bin Laden, the Taliban and denounced the US-British air strikes should be given their wish. They shouted they wanted to "volunteer" to defend Afghanistan and fight the Americans. Fine. Lets give them one-way airplane tickets to Kabul, or Quandahar, or the Panjshir Valley (they can be parachuted in) or at least to Quetta, the ardently pro-Taliban city in Pakistan where the biggest, most virulent pro-Osama and hate-America rallies are being held.

[Title] => Unlike his daddy, George had better finish the job
[Summary] => So the battle has begun. The American air strikes complemented by Tomahawk missile strikes from a British submarine and cruise missiles from warships and an American submarine were no surprise. US President George W. Bush had been promising an assault on the Taliban and military targets in Afghanistan for weeks now ever since the September 11 suicide attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
