SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – The USS Juneau (LPD 10), an Austin-class amphibious transport ship, will be arriving here today (Feb. 23) for a scheduled port visit and a series of goodwill activities in Olongapo City and the rest of Zambales province.


Capt. Burrell Parmer, public affairs officer of the United States Marines’ 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, said more than 600 American sailors and marines will participate in civil-military projects like free medical and dental clinics for indigent patients.

SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES — US Ambassador Kristie Kenney visited Zambales yesterday and led the turnover of a newly constructed visitors’ pavilion while US Marines from the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade provided medical and dental services to the residents. 


In her speech, Kenney said the new pavilion is a symbol of the US’ thrust to reach out to local communities and help in any way possible.
