                    [Summary] =>

Malacañang on Monday said that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo won't be distracted by the new impeachment complaint filed by lawyer Roel Fulido in the House of Representatives.

Press Secretary Ignacio R. Bunye said in a statement, "The latest impeachment saga is just another distraction that the President will ignore."

"Every time the nation takes two steps forward on its path to economic growth and political stability, her detractors try to take us three steps back," Bunye said.
