In its report, the committee pointed out that if it would not condone PLDT's interest and surcharges and opt to litigate, a lot of time would be consumed from waiting for a resolution of a case.

[Summary] => Inmates at the New Bilibid Prisons in Muntinlupa City can now keep their bond with their families as the Bureau of Corrections has recently put up a free call center for them.
BuCor Director Vicente Vinarao said they have installed phone lines in all three compounds at NBP for the use of inmates, especially those whose relatives are in far-flung provinces and who have not been receiving visits for a long time.
The project was made possible with the help of Philippine Long Distance Telecommunications (PLDT), said Vinarao.
