[Title] => Promise of a second coming
[Summary] =>
What is the second coming of the Lord to us a promise or a warning? We live on the promise of Jesus that He will come again, not as a newly-born babe in a poor animals manger one cold midnight in Bethlehem. Yes, the people chosen by God to prepare for His coming did not recognize Him. How could they?

[Title] => Bold stars for Christ
[Summary] => To be a bold star for Christ! This is the challenge of todays Gospel message, Mk. 6:7-13. It started with the twelve star-apostles. Jesus sent them in pairs to preach and teach the way to God and Gods ways healing broken hearts and bodies as well. Their main equipment for spreading the Good News was to be their very own persons converted to the love, compassion, and justice of God. In all this, Jesus led the way. He lived what he preached. And this meant boldness of spirit.

[Title] => Unrestricted charity of Christ
[Summary] => A most touching incident was witnessed when Pope John Paul II visited Tala Leprosarium during the papal visit to the Philippines in 1981. He blessed and embraced the lepers, knelt to kiss the leper in a gesture of loving compassion. It was Christ all over again, repeating His cleansing of a leper who came and knelt before Him saying, "If you wish, you can make me clean" (Mk 1:40). It is recounted that Jesus was moved with pity, and stretching out His hand, touched the leper saying, "I do will it. Be made clean." And the leprosy left him immediately.

[Title] => Power or powerlessness?
[Summary] => LOVE is it power or powerlessness? You be the judge.
There was once a chieftain who was visiting one of the barrios under his domain. There he met a young farm girl, and the chieftain was struck by her beauty, kindness, and grace. It was love at first sight on his part. He ordered that a beautiful suite of rooms be made up for her at his palace and began preparations to marry her.
