Some P1 million worth of "Ecstasy" pills were seized by anti-drug police agents
in two separate buy-bust operations in Mandaluyong and Pasig last Saturday and
Wednesday night.

Two suspected drug pushers identified as Edgar Fajaro, of 1945 Meralco Avenue,
Pasig City and Richard Ley, of 677 Notre dame St., Wack Wack Subdivision,
Mandaluyong City were also arrested in the operations.

Ecstasy, a designer drug from the Netherlands is now becoming popular among
teenagers frequenting disco houses in Makati and Quezon City for the reported
sensual high it gives its users.
