Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban and Associate Justice Antonio Carpio are being forced by Charter change advocates to inhibit themselves in the deliberations on the motion for reconsideration over the people’s initiative petition dismissed earlier by the Supreme Court last October.


According to opposition Sen. Aquilino Pimentel Jr., both magistrates were given the crucial choice by Charter change advocates at the House of Representatives or face possible impeachment proceedings.
