On the day Pope Francis was scheduled to arrive in the country, I started my day with a guesting in It’s Showtime as the opening number wherein I had sung Papa Francisco, Mabuhay Po Kayo (written by Pio and Jun Cruz), and then I went straight to the rehearsal for the Encounter with Families event the next day, Jan. 16, at MOA. We were lucky that the roads weren’t blocked yet so I got there quite early.
