CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A barangay councilman was killed in an ambush by motorcycle-riding men in Guagua, Pampanga Thursday, police said.
Police suspect that communist rebels were behind the killing of Timoteo Ramos, councilman of Barangay Paguiruan, Floridablanca town, based on the manner he was slain.
Ramos was riding a motorcycle driven by one Matias Tuazon when he was waylaid. The ambushers did not harm Tuazon.
