The ever changing world constantly brainwashes man to adopt everything new at the expense of old traditional values because modern technological advances seem to have rendered these values obsolete. The constant flux in the world has indeed rendered man vulnerable to all sorts of changes including those affecting the unchanging Gospel values. Our Senators from opposite camps are now engaged in a battle of affidavits signed by one and the same person who is turning out to be "mas mahusay sa kanila". Opposition senators say the original one is more credible while the opposite side says the second one should prevail.

For the information of our Senators, this case tells us the true value of a sworn statement.
