[Title] => Old and new sounds from Asciano
[Summary] => The name Asciano was probably inspired by the fact that the group is made up entirely of Asians. Topher Cailao on vocals and acoustic guitar, Butch Montejo on vocals and percussion, Al Cobarrubia on bass and backing vocals, Boyet Puro on electric and nylon guitars and backing vocals, Teddy Tipon on drums, trumpet and flugelhorn, Tony Casil on keyboard and Aldos Ramento on second percussion. In fact, unless any of them holds another citizenship in a foreign country, Asciano is definitely a band made up of Filipino musicians.

[Title] => Lloyd Umali returns
[Summary] => It is unfortunate that Lloyd Umali does not write songs. It would be interesting to find out what he should be able to come up with given the fact that he is the grandson of the great composer Restie Umali, who was responsible for Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Paano Kita Lilimutin and other classics. Truth to tell, it even seems like he was not initially set on making a career in music for instead of going to the conservatory, he chose to be a nurse, which as everybody knows makes for a more stable existence.

[Title] => Dingdong goes back to the past
[Summary] => There have been loads of news lately about Dingdong Avanzado on the golf course both here and abroad. That Dingdong Avanzado Celebrity Golf Classic in Guam last week seemed like a major event.
This does not mean though that golf is the only thing that the pop singer is busy with these days. Dingdong still sings and he does it again with much flair in a new album titled Here to Stay.
