The Philippine National Police (PNP) assured the public that the police would fully cooperate with the Ombudsman in the investigation on the alleged anomalous repair of the 28 police V-150 armored vehicles in 2007, which cost the government P409.74 million.

Macatangay said his operatives picked up suspicious groups who were then presented to the 10 schoolmates of Samonte who claimed they saw the incident.
