                    [Title] => Pacquiao unites country
                    [Summary] => Pacquiao succeeded where politicians have failed and that is in uniting the country. The Filipinos were one when Pacquiao fought and the best thing that can be said is that the crime rate in the whole country went down to a record low. We want to take this occasion to congratulate his defeated opponent, Erik "El Terrible" Morales for being a very gracious loser. Our relations with Mexico go all the way back to the galleon trade and many of the fruits and plants we have originally came from Mexico. Classic example is the papaya and our Christmas plant, the poinsettia.

                    [Title] => The Philippines is very fortunate in these times
                    [Summary] => When one compares what is happening around the world with what is happening in our country, one cannot but feel that the Philippines is very fortunate in being spared of calamities, both natural and man-made. In the United States, the richest and most powerful nation in the world, the people of New Orleans were totally shocked and helpless as they saw their old city completely destroyed in one day by Hurricane Katrina. This was followed by Hurricane Rita that hit the state right next to Louisiana.

Bush. If anything it proved that as President Bush was well aware that terrorism is an international problem but that the Philippines could cope with the problem. Not only was there peace and order in places where President Bush would visit or pass, but peace and order all over the country. That was due to the efficiency of the Philippine National Police.
