[Summary] =>
Well, the hot summer is upon us, and this also means that many cacti have awakened from their dormant "winter" rest and are now beginning their active growth cycles. I quickly visited my greenhouses and noticed quite a number of succulents in flower or in bud. Still others are beginning to produce new growth and colorful spines around their tops, and this is a joy to see for the cactus enthusiast. This is, in fact, one of the most anticipated times of the year, for me at least.
