[Title] => Luzon, Visayas Games slated after May polls
[Summary] => The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) yesterday announced the indefinite postponement of the staging of the Luzon Games set April 24 — 30 in the City of Manila and the Visayas Games from April 13 — 18 in Iloilo City.

According to PSC chairman Eric Buhain, the postponement was based on the discussions and sentiments gathered during the Luzon-wide and Visayas-wide Technical Assemblies held last month wherein the PSC National Programs Secretariat gave weight to suggestions raised by some local government units to launch both Games after the May national elections.
