More than 2,000 employees of the defunct Pantranco North Express Inc. urged President Aquino yesterday to intervene so they may be able to sell the 498 bus franchises awarded to them to compensate for what their former company owes them.

The National Labor Union (NLU) has urged national government agencies to assist employees of the defunct Pantranco North Express in getting just compensation declared as valid by the country’s courts through the revival of 498 bus franchises by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
