[Title] => Waya: Truly her mother’s daughter
[Summary] => In my book, Celeste Legaspi is one of the most accomplished artists in this country. It is a venial sin to describe her work as simply impressive – as it is magnificent. Coming to mind quickly are Ang Abaniko, Showboat, Tales of the Manuvu, Saranggola ni Pepe, Limang Dipang Tao, Celeste (the TV show), Mamang Sorbetero, Paglipas ng Dilim. Hers is not only a brilliant musical voice, it is also a valiant one – fiercely believing, tirelessly nurturing Original Pilipino Music and original Filipino musicals.

[Summary] => Her fans may wonder when Celeste Legaspi, unquestionably one of the few true divas of Philippine music, would revisit the world to which she once lent her consummate brand of entertainment. The truth of the matter is, however, she has never really left it.

[Summary] => My schedule nowadays is so crazy I am tempted to submit it to the National Mental Hospital. Most of the time, I get tired just thinking about what I am going to do for the day. Bad attitude. So just before I do anything stupid, I check myself. I take a deep breath and I thank God for the blessings. Then I smile and begin my day like an overbooked geisha who has to hop from one teahouse in Kyoto, ready to be transported to another one in Nagasaki, while riding a Diahatsu that can bring me to magnificent Mt. Fuji.
