When Joy Ejercito designed their family home in Ayala Alabang, she envisioned an airy, spacious abode that can accommodate the needs of her husband and three young children.  A freelance interior designer whose family was in the furniture and construction business, Joy made sure that their house would not only have generously-spaced rooms for entertaining, but also a playroom for the kids and an office for Joy and husband Don, a laparoscopic surgeon at the Asian Hospital.

ent1When he turns 25 on Feb. 7, Ian Veneracion will give himself a long-planned gift -- his first one-man show to be held at the West Gallery of the SM Megamall (until Feb. 19).

"Painting is no longer just a hobby," says Ian who's now also a father (his first child with wife Pam Gallardo). "I want to take it more seriously from now on."
