[Title] => The power of kindness
[Summary] => Pay It Forward is my favorite movie. Set in Las Vegas, the story centers on an 11-year-old boy named Trevor McKinney (Haley Joel Osment) and how he responds positively to a school assignment that leads him to conceive a unique way to express kindness. Helping him enact his idea are his alcoholic but hardworking single mother, Arlene McKinney (Helen Hunt) and his Social Studies teacher who’s content merely doing his daily routine, Mr. Eugene Simonet (Kevin Spacey).

This movie has a rather simple plot but conveys a deep meaning of what life is all about. It is a feel-good movie because it tackles the idea that as individuals, we can effect change for our lives and the world if we only set our minds to it. But at the same time it touches a sensitive emotional chord with an ending that leaves us with a heavy heart and swollen eyes as the main character makes the ultimate sacrifice to "pay it forward."

May kasabihan tayo sa tagalog na ang mga taong ginawan mo ng mabuti ay hindi na ang taong gaganti sa iyo ng kabutihan. Iba na.
