The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is set to re-implement the
Modified Bus Segregation Scheme (MBSS) next month along Edsa.

This developed as MMDA chairman Jejomar Binay expressed optimism that smooth
flow of traffic will be experienced by private and public motorists with the
revival of the MBSS in time for the re-opening of the northbound lanes of Edsa
in Makati in first week of February.

Initially, Binay said the MMDA is meeting with officials of the Metro Rail
Transit (MRT) III to thresh out measures on how to make the MBSS convenient to
MRT commuters.<
