Financial and moral support poured in yesterday for the officials of the Parents Enabling Parents (PEP) Coalition who was charged with two counts of libel  by the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) before a Makati City Regional Trail Court (RTC).


 The group received enough cash that allowed them to post a P230,000 bail bond for the libel cases.


One anonymous donor, who apparently believes in their cause and how they are fighting for the rights of thousands of parents who are up against Pacific Plans Inc., even gave a P50,000 donation.

                    [Summary] => Believing that the prosecution will just cast doubt on every decision she will make after the Department of Justice (DOJ) has  accused her of partiality, Makati City Regional Trail Court (RTC) Branch 137 Judge Jenny Lind Delorino has decided to inhibit herself from the rebellion case filed against Anakpawis partylist Rep. Crispin Beltran.


"So as to preclude any further suspicion of partiality and bias on the part of this judge,  she deems it prudent to recuse herself from hearing and deciding this case," Dolorino said an order.

Makati City Vice Mayor Ernesto Mercado said a police officer was also sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for possession of illegal drugs.
