The provincial government of Oriental Mindoro and its municipal government of Bulalacao have jointly filed a court case against the local governments of Antique province and its Caluya town for the former to reclaim its supposedly “lost” island that was propertied by the latter.

While the Philippines is now locked in a row with China over the Spratly issue, the province of Oriental Mindoro will find itself in a similar situation as it plans to reclaim two islands from Antique.
