[Summary] => A traffic enforcer of the Makati City government was critically injured after being run over by a taxi which refused to be flagged down.
The incident took place at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday at the corner of Jupiter Street and Makati Avenue, Barangay Bel-Air.
PO2 Lauro Ilagan identified the victim as Juanito Baral, a member of the Makati Department of Public Safety (formerly Mapsa).
Investigation revealed that the suspect Felipe Besama, 54, a resident of Dasmariñas, Cavite, was being flagged down by Baral for a traffic violation.
