In addition, my participation in the yearly Palarong Pambansa whose venues shifted from one regional capital to another, also gave me an occasion to observe the socio-cultural conditions in various areas. But why am I bringing this out?
My purpose is to give weight to the following observations on Cebu as well as on the kind of people the Cebuanos are compared to other sub-cultural groups in the country.
