"Katcha is a member of our family," shares Corazon Kabayao, who was in Manila recently. "He is our valium, our stress-reliever."
Gilopez and Corazon have been playing beautiful music for the last 35 years. He the violin, she the piano. Their partnership began as a professional one which later on blossomed into a lifetime commitment.

[Summary] => The Kabayao Quintet arrived in Bacolod for a four-day concert cum educational thrust. And yesterday morning some 210 teachers of Bacolod City gave them a standing ovation. So did a subsequent appearance at the Simag High School with more public schoolteachers.
Yesterday morning, displaying their innovative and unmistakable style of spreading classical music appreciation, Gilopez Kabayao and wife, pianist Corazon Pineda-Kabayao, succeeded in converting the public schoolteachers into an informed concert audience with a 97 passing grade.

[Summary] => Major piano concertists Ingrid Santamaria and Reynaldo Reyes (his repertoire is incredibly wide) spent most of the past year touring the country to introduce classical music to the masses. In fact, they began January 2002 by rendering two concerti at Rizal Park which culminated their "Romantic Piano Concerto Journey". Later in the same year, the duo interpreted no less than six concerti unprecedented anywhere three in the morning and three in the afternoon at the CCP lobby before an audience composed mostly of students.
