Two people were hurt in a fire that razed a warehouse in Muntinlupa City yesterday.


The Muntinlupa Fire Department said Jose Peter Rios and Jose Espana Nueva suffered minor burns while trying to escape the blaze at a paint storage facility and a furniture shop.


Investigators said damage to property was P5 million.


The fire started at 11:14 a.m. at Panting Booth 3 of Paint Plus Corp.’s two-storey warehouse located at the Teparuel Compound in Barangay Putatan.


Senior Fire Officer 2 Conrado Luarca said the blaze reached an adjacent warehouse.
