A Parañaque City jail guard shot dead a colleague in an apparent fit of jealousy Monday morning.

Police said suspect Jail Officer 3 Charlie Ramirez, 32, of Coral Street, Tondo, Manila pumped seven bullets into Senior Jail Officer (SJO) 2 Endolfo Sta. Ana, Jr., 42. Sta. Ana, of Guadalupe Bliss, Makati, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Olivarez General Hospital.

Initial investigation showed that the incident happened at 10:20 a.m. inside the Parañaque City Jail Barracks.
