A 37-year-old taxi driver lost at least P1,800 to three unidentified robbers who robbed him along San Miguel Street in barangay Lorega-San Miguel yesterday dawn.


The victim, identified as Jorge Castañares of Triple K Taxi, reported the incident to the Parian Police Station.


The victim told police that two of the robbers, who were armed with a handgun and a knife, are in their early 20s while the other is in his 30s.


According to Castañares, the robbers boarded his cab at Fuente Osmeña and asked him to bring them to Lorega-San Miguel.
