With their backs against the wall, the Blades refused to crack up and with key plays by Eddie Laure and Tony Boy Espinosa and a pair of crucial defensive stops in the closing seconds the team went on to steal the win before a stunned crowd at Olongapo Convention Center.

A STAR source said that Slashers general manager Babes Alvarez has reportedly conferred with team lawyers probably on the status of the contracts of some Negros personnel. 


"I don’t want to comment on the specifics but I’m currently consulting with my lawyers and by next week, we’ll bare all the details of my meetings with them," Alvarez told The STAR.
