[Title] => Delariarte posts 4-shot lead
[Summary] => Young Jerome Delariarte jumped the gun on the bigger names with a four-under-par 68 yesterday, storming ahead by four strokes over club bet Marlon Dizon and two others at the start of the inaugural Manila Amateur golf championship.
The 23-year-old Delariarte, playing out of Southwoods, barely missed tying the course record when he bogeyed the 17th from the deep right bunker and his birdie try from 18 feet on the last hole lipping out of the cup.

[Title] => Wide-open race seen as Manila Am tees off
[Summary] => In a course where a deft short game can be a better weapon than power off the tee, the big guns should expect a sustained assault from all corners as the inaugural Manila Amateur golf championship tees off today at Wack Wack west.
Though big names like Angelo Que, Juvic Pagunsan and Marlon Dizon are given top billing, anybody from among the 40 players in the championship class who can putt and save strokes around the green can easily muddle up the title race.
