The University of the Philippines (UP) will bid out the remaining phases in the development of the 98-hectare UP North Science and Technology Park along Commonwealth Avenue in Diliman, Quezon City as part of a grand vision to replicate the famous Silicon Valley in California and MIT’s Route 128.

ALI president Jimmy Ayala said the additional space for open parking at Trinoma may be converted into additional retail space, hotel or office buildings.

Trinoma, which will open in June , will provide 195,000 square meters of gross leasable area. It has already signed up 600 tenants, mostly those in the fashion industry.

"More merchants are coming in. The mall is 90 percent occupied," Ayala said.
